25km in western direction you find the city of Épinal with its beautifull center and the zoo with native animals.
The small city of Bruyères is approximatly 6km eaway and gives you a lot of possibilities for shopping.
To the north you can find St-Dié with its historical and cultural places of interest.
In the heart of the vosges between lakes, forest and mountains Gérardmer is a city of authentic discoveries. There is a lot to discover: Winter sports, dipping, trips, and the rhythmic life of the city througout the year. There is also a climbing wall in the ice-skating hall.
